I have a short break in school right now so I'm taking advantage and trying to post some stuff on the blog.  This week we had this pasta.  It was easy and it was yummy! 

Shrimp and Asparagus Pasta

Bag of large shrimp, peeled
1 bunch of asparagus, tough ends discarded, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 stick of butter
1 package sliced mushrooms
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta al dente.  In a separate pot, steam asparagus until tender, about 10 minutes.  In a large skillet, melt butter.  Add peeled shrimp and mushrooms and cook until pink in cooked, turning slightly pink.  Add the lemon juice and stir.  In a large bowl, mix together drained pasta, asparagus,  and everything from the shrimp/mushroom skillet.  Add Parmesan cheese and mix well.  Serve hot.
